CSU’s Red Whistle Brigade, through the Women and Gender Advocacy Center (WGAC), is putting forth a call for submissions for the second edition of their R.E.D. (Rebel, Empower, Dismantle) Zine.
The submission deadline is Monday, March 27th.
The R.E.D Zine is open to all submissions that center on issues of identity, stories of survivors of interpersonal violence (sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking), oppression, self-expression and exploration, gender inequality, racial inequality, intersectional feminism, and rape culture.
Self-expression is a form of activism, and this zine wants to give everyone a voice. Submissions can include, but are not limited to: poems, comics, drawings, artwork, essays, spoken word, stories, etc.
Please email all submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org or turn into the Women and Gender Advocacy Center at 234 Lory Student Center or 112 Student Services for consideration. You may contact the same email with questions.
The Red Whistle Brigade seeks to end rape culture on campus by engaging in campus activism. Click here for more information on how you can become involved.
