Nov 28: Auditions for The (Blank) Monologues

The (Blank) Monologues is back for 2017! Auditions will be held on November 28th.

The (Blank) Monologues is a production written and performed by CSU students/faculty/alumni/community members about current social justice issues. This can include anything from sexual and domestic abuse, identity, racism, sexism, mental health, or any other personal experience that participants feel is important and therefore needs to be talked about. Poetry, prose, songs, videos, or other performance types are all welcome. We are also looking for participants willing to help backstage (no experience needed).

As long as proper permissions are obtained, participants may audition pieces written by someone else, as well. All proceeds will go to local charities working towards social justice in the CSU and Fort Collins communities. No prior experience is necessary, this production is open to everyone!

Auditions for The (Blank) Monologues

Eddy 200

There is one workshop remaining this semester on Tuesday, November 14th at 7:00 PM in Eddy 200.

Those who are interested are encouraged to attend the workshop. However, if they are unable to do so, coming to auditions is all that is required for this semester. They also do not have to come prepared with a memorized monologue. As long as they come with solid ideas for what they would like to write about/perform, that will do!

The (Blank) Monologues will take place in the Spring Semester with rehearsals every Tuesday evening.

Please email theblankmonologues@gmail.com with any questions!
