The WGAC provides programs and resources focusing on all genders, social justice, and interpersonal violence prevention. Additionally, WGAC provides advocacy and support for victims of sexual violence, stalking, sexual harassment and relationship violence. Our purpose is to provide a safe and affirming space for the students we serve at Colorado State University, while supporting systemic change to end all forms of oppression within our community.

This workshop is available for partners, family and friends of gender based violence survivors. In this workshop we’ll be covering topics from how trauma affects the brain to how you can best support your loved one to how vicarious trauma can impact support systems. This is a 3-hour workshop that is offered a few times a semester.

Please email wgac@colostate.edu if you are interested in more information or to sign-up.

This is a lecture and discuss style presentation with a lecture style. chair set-up. A powerpoint presentation and/or a audio and visual media are likely to be used. A sign language interpreter may be hired upon request.
