So What If You Can’t Get Into the Bar for Free? Male Privilege Still Exists
Wednesday, September 27th
3:00 – 4:00 PM
Lory Student Center Room 324
Presenter: Andre Roberts, Residence Director for Residence Life at CSU; and Jeffrey Mariano, Residence Director for Residence Life at CSU.

Ladies night out is not an example of female privilege and neither is getting their drinks for free. But going out to the bars and not having the fear of a random person grabbing you from behind and forcing you to dance with them, well, that’s a privilege that men are granted. During this session we will explore more examples of male privilege, how our culture perpetuates it, and begin discussions on how to dismantle aspects of toxic masculinity.
