Colorado State University became the first university in the country to launch a university-sanctioned Feminist Fight Club, based on the bestselling book of the same name by Jessica Bennett. Bennett was on campus Sept. 25 for a series of workshops and a fireside chat with Cori Wong, director of the Women & Gender Collaborative, to mark the inauguration of FFC. The Women & Gender Collaborative is a Presidential Initiative, part of President Tony Frank’s charge to the entire campus to make CSU the best place for women to work and learn, and Feminist Fight Club is just the latest in a variety of projects spearheaded by the Collaborative.
