Ongoing in Fall Semester: The ‘Blank’ Monologues Preparation and Auditions

The (Blank) Monologues is back for the 2017-2018 academic year!

TBM is a production written and performed by CSU students about social justice issues facing us today. This can include anything from sexual and domestic abuse, identity, racism, sexism, mental health, or any other personal experience that you feel is important and needs to be talked about. Poetry, prose, songs, videos, or other performance types are all welcome.

As long as proper permissions are obtained, you may audition relevant pieces written by someone else, as well. All proceeds will go to local charities working towards social justice in the community.

Info meetings are being held on Tuesday, September 5th and Tuesday, September 12th at 7 PM in Eddy 200.

Workshops will be held every other Tuesday at 7 PM in the Fall semester to help develop pieces, with auditions on Tuesday, November 28th (other dates may be added to accommodate students). The show will be in the Spring Semester with rehearsals every Tuesday evening.

Please email theblankmonologues@gmail.com with any questions! No prior experience is necessary.
